When we get it wrong

We would rather be corrected than be quietly inaccurate. If something on this site is wrong, email news@hyppohq.ai and tell us what and where. You do not need to be the subject of the story to ask for a correction.

What we do

• A factual error is fixed in the article, and a dated correction note is added at the bottom saying what the article previously said.
• A headline error is fixed and noted the same way, and the original wording is preserved in the note.
• A story we should not have run is retracted, not deleted. The page stays up with the retraction on it, because quietly removing a URL hides the mistake instead of owning it.
• A typo or a broken link is just fixed.
